Full-Time Junior / Associate Advocate Positions (Civil Litigation Team)

About the Position
We are expanding our Civil Litigation vertical and invite applications from passionate, committed advocates who wish to build a long-term career in high-quality civil and commercial litigation practice.
You will work directly under senior advocates on matters before the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court, City Civil Court, Alipore Court, Consumer Forums, and various tribunals.
Primary Practice Areas
- Property & Real Estate disputes (title suits, partition, specific performance, eviction)
- Commercial & Contract disputes
- Companies Act, SARFAESI & IBC matters
- Arbitration petitions & enforcement
- Consumer, tenancy, and recovery suits
- Injunctions, specific relief, and declaratory suits
What You Will Do From Day One
- Draft plaints, written statements, applications, affidavits, and appeals with minimal supervision
- Appear regularly in court along with/with seniors
- Conduct legal research and prepare case notes/synopsis
- Attend client conferences and settlement negotiations
- Handle e-filing, cause list monitoring, and registry work independently
- Manage case files digitally and physically
We Are Looking For
- Advocates with 3–7 years PQE (fresh law graduates who have cleared AIBE are also welcome)
- Outstanding drafting skills – this is non-negotiable
- Tech-savvy with excellent computer skills (fast typing, MS Word mastery, PDF tools, e-filing portals, case management software)
- Strong research and analytical ability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced litigation environment
- Excellent spoken & written English + Bengali/Hindi
- Preference: Candidates residing in South Kolkata or willing to relocate
